Talanor, the Bright Tower
Mortals - Nightblood Orc
Nightblood Clan (Orc subrace):
Incredibly strong and legendarily durable, the Nightblood are the mightiest warriors in a fierce land. They laugh at wounds that would kill other races and willingly shed their own tar black blood to increase their power. Until the Shaping, the Nightblood were fighting a two front war with both Haemil and the Clan of the Lost. As is common in the First Lands, the Nightblood have stronger gifts of mind and spirit than their western cousins. However, the Nightblood are prone to rash action and lack foresight.
Their magical traditions all revolve around blood, which should surprise no one since they are led by their immortal “living ancestors” (vampires). It is considered a great honor to be chosen to join the “living ancestors”, and many of the Nightblood are driven to perform feats of valor and skill to impress their ancestors.

Alternative Racial Traits:
Fast Healing 1: Nightblood regain 1 hit point each round. Except for where noted here, fast healing is just like natural healing. Fast healing does not restore hit points lost from starvation, thirst, or suffocation, nor does it allow a creature to regrow lost body parts. Fast healing continues to function (even at negative hit points) until a Nightblood dies, at which point the effects of fast healing immediately end. This replaces Bloodletting and Ferocity.
